Dr. Madison Bissette is a native of Wilson, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences degree, graduating magna cum laude. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
During dental school, Dr. Bissette was heavily involved with the Cleft Palate Gallop Organization which aims to benefit the UNC Craniofacial Center, a program dedicated to the care of children with craniofacial anomalies. Supplementing her education with elective courses in maternal & child health and pediatric dental emergencies, Dr. Bissette loves all aspects of general dentistry but finds special joy in providing care to families and children. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Bissette enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and yellow Labrador retriever, Gauge. She also enjoys traveling, spending weekends on the North Carolina Coast, attending as many UNC sporting events as possible, and pursuing her life-long love for horses.
